Funny Failures : Blogging
Yes, I will be the first to admit that I've been a terrible blogger. And, well, my excuse is ... my life is just kinda boring right now :( You know, work, exercise, eat, time with the hubby, sleep, repeat. Throw in some church and great times serving and the occasional weekend trip, and you've got my life. Sorry I haven't posted, and I probably won't post for another week or so ... because I'll be at the beach. For a week, with the wonderful in law family of mine !!!!! I'm so excited ! Okay, bye :)

Blog Browsing : Waterfall Braid
So I have seen pictures of gorgeous braids lately with tussled looking beach hair and I had to do a little research :) I taught myself to french braid at at early age by locking myself in my room with a my American girl doll Felicity and my Scholastics Braids and Bows book I got at the school book fair. Ever since then I've been a pro ! No joke, I would not open my door until I learned how to french braid, I then taught myself to braid my own hair. I was always the one who would french braid everyone's hair at cheer camp or on church camp bus rides.
okay okay, here's the video that helped me master this trendy do, yep, short and sweet 2 minutes and 2 seconds, great job Cute Girls Hair Styles video on youtube :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y90s6neUKEY&feature=related

Good Finds : The perfect summer drink
mMm I love a good Arnold Palmer :) You know, the perfect combination of Iced Tea and Lemonade, especially in the summer time it just makes me happy ! I'm normally just a water drinker but this is a yummy treat I indulge in sometimes (I try to do unsweet tea and low cal lemonade).
Anyways ... I found this little gem that is surprisingly guiltless and tasty ! I got mine at Walmart :) Only 5 calories a serving, two servings in a 16 oz water bottle. Enjoy this crisp, refreshing summer beverage, I know I am :)

Funny Semi-Failures: Heat-less Curls attempt #2
haha and they both ended up under funny failures ... sad :( well this one wasn't a complete failure, I meannnn it just wasn't perfect like I wanted it to be. See this tutorial here ... Thanks Happy Together for posting the link to the video tutorial ! Maybe you can come to NC and roll my hair so it can look at cute as yours :)
So go here to view the tutorial No Heat Curls
Basically, take a head band thingy, the ones you wear when you're exercising to keep the wispies back, put it around your forehead, wrap hair in sections around the band until you look like Martha Washington, sleep in it, and viola beautiful curls ! haha here's a few pictures of me :) Man I must really love ya'll to be showing you some of these images !
Mostlikely I will try this again because it is a decent way to get some body and movent to your hair without any damage. Next time, I will try to wrap the hair more carefully. Well, let me know if you try it and how it works for you :)
